ONLINE ENTRY FEE £15 PRE-ENTRY (£20 ON THE DAY)

 

Pre-entry
Pre-entry for the David McCall Sportive will close on Sunday 3rd June 2012 at 11.59 pm. Fee for the event is £15. Fee after close of online entry will be £20.

Facilities on the day will include:

  • Car Parking
  • Changing and showering
  • Refreshments at Dundrum and Spelga
  • First Aid
  • Broom Wagon

And at the finish
There will be Soup and refreshments at the finish where those cyclists who completed their respective route will receive a certificate of their achievement and a drinks bottle as a memento of the occasion.

  • Registration between 9.00am and 9:30am. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME
  • STARTING at 10:00am HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES

Maryland Wheelers Elite Athletes

These Elite Athletes have all achieved recent success at National and International level; they follow a long line of such Champions produced by Maryland Wheelers in its 80 years of existence.
Heather has represented Ireland at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and 2010. She won the gold medal at both the Ulster and Irish road race championships in 2010.

 

Mark has excelled at cycling time trials -he set an Irish Vets. record for 50 miles in 2008 and won the Irish Vets. Championship in 2009. On top of his time trialling Mark has also managed to complete 6 Iron man events in recent years.

 

Aileen is an International Triathlete who will be representing Ireland at the 2012 London Olympics.  She is currently ranked 13 in the World having had a tremendous year in 2011 at World cup events with a 4th place in Japan,4th place in Mexico and a 2nd place in Korea.
