Maryland Wheelers - Committee meeting Tuesday 16th March 2010.
Minutes:

Racing Calendar:
Club Races: Calendar had been signed off with Phoenix and Maryland had agreed to provide 4 marshalls per race. GL was also to draft advice for marshalls and a proposal to deal with unsafe and persistent dangerous riding in club races.
Tommy Givan Road Race: it was agreed that the race would begin at 10.00am with Race HQ located in the Hillsborough Village centre. GL was to complete the PSNI form 18, PH to book the village centre and JMcC to book the ambulance cover. A decision as to whether two races would be run would be taken at a later date.
David McCall memorial criterium: Due to ongoing difficulties it was agreed that GL would explore the option of hiring the Nutts Corner Race track for the event on the 30th June. However, PH would explore the potential of the closed town centre course and funding with Lisburn City Council with Brendan Courtney
80th Anniversary Dinner:
This was being taken forward by C Jeffers and Hamilton Topping with assistance from Phil Holland. It was agreed to that Lisburn Golf Club would be the venue on, potentially the last Saturday in November. Phil Holland would circulate a list of potential guests and former members to be invited
Club Clothing:
This was to be taken forward by GL and Ian Greer. There was a need for ordered kit to be paid upfront. GL would co-ordinate a meeting for ordering and payments with Ian and come back with a date
AOB:
It was agreed that club committee minutes would be emailed around club members and put on the website.
It was also agreed that former members would be kept on the contact/circulation list for a year

Point of Note:- We have been asked by representatives from the Tour of the North, if the club could supply a few Marshalls for Saintfield on Easter Tuesday, it would be great if we could support this prestigious event, it should only be for an hour. Could any volunteers get in contact with Gerry ASAP. Cheers
